This event is a reenactment of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King's Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence speech, in which he expressed his opposition to the Vietnam War and urged all people to unite to confront "the giant triplets of racism, materialism, and militarism." Today the speech inspires us to ask: What do we need to break silence about? How are youth and others already breaking silences? Are we listening?
