Hot Button Issues Committee

The Hot Button Issues Committee hosts regularly scheduled community gatherings to delve into current topics of special interest to the League and the community at large, including advocacy issues that the League supports.

The Hot Button Issues Committee, with input from the Board and membership, identifies the topics, confirms a host location, schedules speakers or panel participants, and moderates each session.

In addition, the Hot Button Issues Committee assists with the  General Membership Meetings, including identifying speakers and topics and securing locations.

Presentations are held at various local sites, occurring from September through May. Check the TLC-LWV website for most current schedule and topics. Hot Button Issues events and General Membership Meetings are open to the public.

Events are often recorded and posted to our website at League Videos  or you can view on our YouTube Channelhttp:///www.youtube.com/@lwvtoledo-lucascounty/channel

this information is also shared with the 411 guide.  www.Vote411.org

The League does not endorse, oppose, or evaluate any candidate or party.  This information is available prior to the general election on Vote411.org and also on our website, under the Elections and Voting dropdown menu at the top of the page.
